Starting a business as a Virtual Assistant can feel like a roller coaster=
 ride. One day=2C you're excited; the next=2C you're discouraged; and the=
 next=2C you wonder what you were thinking.

In 2010=2C when I was starting my Virtual Assistant business=2C RocketGirl=

 ideal time to begin a new venture.

I had six figures of debt=2C seven years of unpaid back taxes=2C no job=2C=
 and a failed marriage; I was a single mom and had to sell my home.

I was also about to turn fifty=2C and as silly as it sounds now (at 62)=2C=
 I thought I was too old to change and had missed my chance to have the li=
fe I always wanted.

If this is how you feel=2C I want you to know it's not too late. But I als=
o want you to know that if you want to change your life=2C you will have t=
o do something different and probably (at least temporarily) uncomfortable=
=2E

I often see aspiring Virtual Assistants in the beginning stages of their b=
usiness=2C "playing office" - setting up their desks=2C organizing their h=
ard drives=2C and learning new programs - instead of doing the things that=
 will bring them clients=2C like networking=2C building their email lists=
=2C and sending out email newsletters consistently.

Albert Einstein said=2C "The definition of insanity is doing the same thin=
g over and over and expecting different results." Even though I knew this=
=2C ignoring this advice is precisely what got me into so much trouble all=
 those years ago.

My strategy was to keep working harder and harder at the same things (that=
 weren=E2=80=99t working)=2C believing that time would make a difference t=

6. Repeat step 5: Every. Single. Day.

 most is that you keep moving forward=2C doing the things that will make a=
 difference.

Albert Einstein said=2C<strong>&nbsp;"<em>The definition of insanity is do=
ing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.</em>"</s=
trong>&nbsp;Even though I knew this=2C ignoring this advice is precisely w=
hat got me into so much trouble all those years ago.&nbsp;<br>

<strong>My strategy was to keep working harder and harder at the same thin=
