As a Virtual Assistant - or human being=2C for that matter - when we try s=
omething new=2C we usually bump up against our comfort zone.

You know that uncomfortable feeling in your gut=2C combined with imagining=
 the worst possible outcome=2C not to mention the voice screaming in your=
 head=2C telling you=2C =E2=80=9CI can=E2=80=99t do THAT!!=E2=80=9D

The problem is that when we give the voice of our comfort zone the authori=
ty to make decisions=2C we can=E2=80=99t grow=2C change=2C or achieve our=
 goals. And that=E2=80=99s because our comfort zone is designed to keep us=
 safe.

Here=E2=80=99s the rub: we=E2=80=99re jumping to a conclusion that doesn=
=E2=80=99t make sense. We think that if we=E2=80=99re not safe (in our com=
fort zone)=2C we must be unsafe or in danger. DANGER?

Think about how ridiculous that is for a minute.

Here=E2=80=99s where you get stuck:
* I=E2=80=99m not comfortable telling anyone about my business
* I=E2=80=99m not comfortable attending networking events
* I=E2=80=99m not comfortable updating my LinkedIn profile
* I=E2=80=99m not comfortable choosing a business name
* I=E2=80=99m not comfortable [fill in the blank]

Nothing on this list=2C including [fill in the blank]=2C is dangerous. Se=
riously. To succeed=2C you=E2=80=99ll need to get into action and get a li=
ttle uncomfortable. After all=2C if you could think your way into business=
=2C you=E2=80=99d already be a billionaire=2C right?

Consider this: When you learned how to walk=2C you were out of your comfor=
t zone. But as you became proficient=2C your comfort zone changed =E2=80=
=93 it expanded=2C and it moved to include walking.

It=E2=80=99s the same thing when you=E2=80=99re in business. Just like the=
re was the reward of mobility when you learned to walk=2C there is a rewar=
d when you become a successful business owner making money. You can take c=
are of yourself=2C you can take care of your family=2C and you can help yo=
ur clients create success. As you take the necessary steps to achieve this=
=2C your comfort zone will expand again.

So then=2C what=E2=80=99s the fastest way to expand your comfort zone? Ack=
nowledge that it=E2=80=99s there=2C notice what it=E2=80=99s trying to tel=
l you=2C and then ask yourself if you are really in danger or just a littl=
e scared. Then grab some courage and jump in.

hing new=2C we usually bump up against our comfort zone.<br>

You know that uncomfortable feeling in your gut=2C combined with imagining=
 the worst possible outcome=2C not to mention<strong>&nbsp;the voice screa=
ming in your head=2C telling you=2C =E2=80=9CI can=E2=80=99t do THAT!!=E2=
=80=9D</strong><br>
<br>
The problem is that when we give the voice of our comfort zone the authori=
ty to make decisions=2C we can=E2=80=99t grow=2C change=2C or achieve our=
 goals. And that=E2=80=99s because our comfort zone is designed to keep us=
 safe.<br>
<br>
<strong>Here=E2=80=99s the rub: we=E2=80=99re jumping to a conclusion that=
 doesn=E2=80=99t make sense. We think that if we=E2=80=99re not&nbsp;<em>s=
afe (in our comfort zone)</em>=2C we must be unsafe or in&nbsp;<em>danger<=
/em>. DANGER?</strong><br>
<br>
Think about how ridiculous that is for a minute.<br>
<br>

<strong>Consider this:</strong>&nbsp;When you learned how to walk=2C you w=
ere out of your comfort zone. But as you became proficient=2C your comfort=
 zone changed =E2=80=93 it expanded=2C and it moved to include walking.<br=

<br>
It=E2=80=99s the same thing when you=E2=80=99re in business. Just like the=
re was the reward of mobility when you learned to walk=2C there is a rewar=
d when you become a successful business owner making money. You can take c=
are of yourself=2C you can take care of your family=2C and you can help yo=
ur clients create success.<strong>&nbsp;As you take the necessary steps to=
 achieve this=2C your comfort zone will expand again.</strong><br>

So then=2C what=E2=80=99s the fastest way to expand your comfort zone? Ack=
nowledge that it=E2=80=99s there=2C notice what it=E2=80=99s trying to tel=
l you=2C and then ask yourself if you are&nbsp;<em>really</em>&nbsp;in dan=
ger or just a little scared. Then grab some courage and jump in.</p>
