The clearer you are in what you want, the better the relationship. Having this, will give you an unfair advantage in the playing field and wil= l help you see your business skyrocket with having the right teams in place. I've personally hired 1,000s of people in my current business and previous = businesses. I'm going to share with you how my hiring process has evolved o= ver the years and how it brought me more clarity now than ever. 2008 - I first started my business (working for myself) 2010 - I had my very first virtual assistant hire (Lucy) During this time, I had a business where I built blogs for customers. It wa= s very successful and I was building around 5-10 blogs a week for my custom= ers. I was doing this ALL by myself and it wasn't until I learned how to le= verage my time. I hired Lucy to help me build these blogs, which allowed me to deliver much= quicker and get more repeat orders faster. We went from 5-10 blogs a week= to doing 10-15 blogs a week. It was so amazing that after 2 months, I hire= d her sister and then her brother. Fast forward .... 2018 - I had a new business and it involved Shopify / E-commerce At this time, we were building 50 Shopify stores a day (We ended up buildin= g 6,000 Shopify stores total from 2018-2019). During this time we had a lot of entry level people (600+) that was working= for us in different capacities. The difference here was that we had a syst= em that was working very well and we just needed more manpower / more hands= . The skillsets were not that insane (all they had to do was use a template= to build out these Shopify stores that worked very well). Fast forward to 2019-2020 - I opened up Stealth Agents Clients were asking for virtual assistants and they wanted what we had! During this time, I had a LOT of learning in how to hire the RIGHT talent f= or these companies that were coming to us. We had to constantly pivot, chan= ge and improve our processes to where the talent we had back then did not m= atch the standards that our clients had NOW. We were humbled ... Fast forward to 2022-2023 - We really learned how to hire 1% top talent! Clients were growing fast and so was our management team. We had to learn a= nd re-learn how to attract, manage and hire the top 1% so that we can keep = our retention high and keep clients. During these years, I would say was our biggest learning curve here at Stea= lth Agents. We learned that not EVERYONE is a good fit. We were rejecting workers off of a 12 step filtering process that brought u= s to only the right talent. On top of that, we were rejecting workers based= on 5 different filters during our interview process. Guess what happened .... Clients stayed longer, monthly recurring revenues = doubled and everyone was happier. It really does say that having the RIGHT hire will make or break your busin= ess. We had to learn that the hard way (7+ figures in 'learning') to really= understand that having the RIGHT person in the role is the biggest differe= nce to a business' success.
